Producer gas leaves the gasifier as the mixture of combustible and non-cobustible gases alongwith tar vapour, water vapour, dust, mineral vapour.

The removal of tar from gas producer is one of the more difficult problmes in gas cleaning.

There is a minim quantity of hydrogen sulfide in the biomass producer gas. It will not only pollute environment, but also poison the catalysts of removal tar and removal ammonia.
