Racemic ketoprofen was separated when the polymer was used as a stationary phase of high performance liquid chromatography. The mixture of ketoprofen and ibuprofen were also separated by this polymer.

The membranes were then used in the electrodialysis resolution process to separate DL-4-hydroxyphenylglycine racemic mixture.
