The meter is devided into two parts: the primary meter (detector) and the secondary meter.

This instrument can measure automatically the oil consumption at the normal rating and the r. p. m. of the supercharger and the diesel, fitting with the corresponding primary meter.

The Thirty Meter Telescope's massive primary mirror has 492 segments, all perfectly aligned to form a 30-meter (98-foot) light-collecting surface.
