In order to study the response of structures with steel BRBs, substructure pseudo-dynamic tests were performed on frame with a single degree of freedom(SDOF).

By comparing the response of models, it shows that the pseudo-space model is appropriate to analyze the transverse seismic performance of steel staggered truss structure.
