An aerosol time-of-flight mass spectrometer that can be used for real-time measurement of chemical compositions of individual aerosol particles had been designed and manufactured in our laboratory.

Based on a plane grating monochrometer and a optical scanner, the high time-resolved optical multichannel spectrometer is developed. A computer is used to real-time control and data acquisition.

Without moving parts, this spectrometer has advantages such as compact structure, good stability and high real-time.
