The digital filtering includes lowpass filtering, polarization filtering, frequency weighting filtering, correlation filtering and superposition process, etc.

The imaginary parts of the polarization and correlation contributions are calculated analytically and the real parts of them are obtained by means of dispersion relation.

Fourier transform-based registration technique, the phase correlation method, is introduced. It is applied to register polarization images.
