The practice became aware of Tradical Hemcrete at the concept stage, while researching alternatives to early suggestions of either in situ or precast concrete as the primary walling element.

In recent years the reinforced concrete precast element linings are adopted more and more for the soft surrounding rock tunnels. But a perfect assembling method for lining is not performed yet.
