Surely, given the enormous blowback against SOPA (even from independent producers who stand to gain the most from its protections), and the equally fulsome resistance that would arise against a kinder, gentler Bride of SOPA, plus the time, expense and hardship that comes from criminal prosection of piracy generally, maybe anti-piracy education needs to be given a serious look in this country.
