Employers are planning on hiring about 17 percent more new graduates for jobs in the U.S. this year than last, according to a survey conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

A survey of entrepreneurs who started companies last year shows that while virtually all did substantial preparatory research and planning, only half used that work to produce a formal business plan.

In addition to hoteliers believing that social media will produce greater ROIs, the survey also showed a surge in the types of social media that hoteliers are participating in (or planning for 2010).
