Relative intensity Noise (RIN) has been adopted to study the intensity distributions of laser beams propagating in the muti-stacked medium in frequency domain.

The two laser beam system has been used to measure the relative density of linen dust, with the feature of wide measurement range, good sensitivity and restraining the intensity fluctuation noise.
