The effect of forming temperature, injection pressure and pistonvelocity on the filling ability of semi-solid A356 aluminum alloy slurry were investigated.
After reflection, the average particle velocity near free surface is equal to twice the pistonvelocity approximately, which agrees with macroscopic phenomena.
