Based on the association chart, heuristic method was used to get the partition rule. The rule was applied for module partition of vertical and multichannel pouch packaging machine.

There is no rule for the quantity of resources to be allocated to one partition, though there are minimum resources required to make a partition.

The rule of thumb is that you choose between 1.5 to 2 times the amount of RAM as the swap space, and you put this partition in a place that is quick to reach, like at the beginning or end of the disk.
