The unsaponifiable matters including sterols, 4-methyl sterols and triterpene alcohols in perillaseed oil were separated and analyzed using flash chromatography with silica gel H and GC.
The different antioxidant components were extracted from the Perilla leaves or seed peel using different solvent, and their antioxidant activity in Perillaseed oil was measured.
