The circuit, with over-current protection of output transformer original side average current and side peak current, adopts pulse transformer coupling MOSFET driving circuit.

The device can be applied to measure the relative value of laser pulse peak power, therefore it can monitor the fluctuation of output energy when Z-scan experiment is carried out.

The relations between the output pulse energy of the amplifier and the different input pulse peak power or pump power are also discussed.
