The article discusses about open tension control of pay off reel in the continuous galvanizing line and setting the parameter of converters in the PLC to realize the open tension control in detail.

By taking beaming machine as an example, this paper describes the methods that realize the constant tension control of pay-off and take-up reel of wire and cable by using general inverter.
