Direct Torque Control (DTC) has the advantages of less reference frame commutation-computation and less influence by motor parameter variations in AC drives system.

Based on the principle of the direct torque control, the novel identification method of induction motor speed using neural network in a speed-less sensor AC drive system was presented.

A new strategy of tank gun control system to apply to control AC motor was introduction and improved-designing of AC motor based on basic method of Direct Torque control was proposed.
