This paper describes the design of a kind nuclear gauge union function instructional meter, for experiments with three types of nuclear gauge-including level gauge, density gauge and thickness gauge.

When the exciton system closes to the statistical equilibrium, this exciton state density automatically approaches to the Fermi-gas nuclear level density with angular momentum.

Recently it was found that the nuclear symmetry energy can be directly associated with the mean level density and an iso-vector potential.
