The application test of guar gum as a new strengtheningagent in cultural paper was carried out in laboratory scale. Its strengthening effect was compared with that of cationic starch.
In this paper, with modifier UF resin and strengtheningagent ethyl silicate, furan resin was modified. By studying the mechanics properties of the resin, the best blending rate was decided.
