Using the proposed model, the relation between the magnetic flux density in the air of the giant magnetostrictive force sensor and the value of force applied on the magnetostrictive rod is calculated.

The research showed that the control result of electromagnetic brake was related to casting speed, mould Angle and magnetic flux density.

An empirical formula describing the dependence of the power of hysteresis loss on frequency, magnetic flux density and temperature was derived.
