Based on the basic concept of the coupling of LD with the fiber, the principle of operation and operation method of YAG laser welding automatic alignment system for LD/PD modules are given.

This paper introduced, the method about laser alignment using round zone plate, analysed sources and distribution of the method's error in a systematic way.
