Present status of push slab for sintering soft-magneticferrites in nitrogen kiln are introduced in this paper. In addition the key problems to be resolved for producing push slab were discussed.
The results show that HIP ferrites have an improved mechanical properties and such ferrites are very good magnetic head materials for high density recording.
