A comparison of VFB and CFB indicates that VFB has lower minimumfluidization velocity, higher bed voidage and more steady fluidization because big bubbles can not be formed in the bed.
The interaction between gas and particles under different flow regimes, ranging from minimumfluidization to pneumatic transportation, was investigated in a vertical gas-solid flow system.
The phenomenon of agglomeration and its various influencing factors, the sintering minimumfluidization velocity, the parameter change of gasification when it was agglomeration are also presented.
