The friction and wear tests of the self lubricating bearing made of carbon fiber reinforced copper matrix composite materials are arranged by uniform design that can greatly reduce the test duration.

Self-lubricating wear resistant coating is prepared by plasma spraying using chromium carbide, nickel chrome, fluoride-metal, and silver composite materials.

Some examples of application of P/M solid self-lubricating materials in China in recent years are introduced. In some special operation conditions these materials worked quite well.
