The workshop, which has been designed to provide a common platform for industry and academia, will focus on biological single-molecule research, nanoscience, nano-medicine and bio-nanotechnology.

Nano TCM, a novel idea in the research and development of traditional Chinese medicine is introduced here. The properties of Nano TCM and its prospects have been discussed.

Nano technology is introduced for the research and development of modern Chinese medicine and a new concept of Nano TCM is also proposed in this paper.
