The ending time value must be later than the starting time for the Log Time expression.

The best way to understand this is to log time on the web, visiting sites and keeping track of the design elements that seem to work best.

I've had pretty good success with just using a placeholder story for ongoing maintenance work. Then folks can simply log time against it.
