Article 448 Any serviceman who maltreats prisoners of war shall, if the circumstances are flagrant, be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years.

Whoever maltreats disabled persons shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of Article 22 of the Regulations on Administrative Penalties for Public Security;
虐待残疾人的，依照治安管理处罚条例第二十二条的规定处罚；

Whoever maltreats a minor family member in a vicious manner shall be investigated for criminal responsibility in accordance with the provisions in Article 182 of the Criminal Law.
