Multispectral analysis reveals each successive layer of colour, and enables the pigments and pigment mixtures of each pixel to be identified without taking physical samples.

At the same time, combined with the method of target detection and recognition, this paper introduces the application of multispectral and Hyperspectral Information Analysis in related fields.

Theoretical analysis and calculation are given in this paper for "conical scanning" in object space. Its practicability in multispectral scanner is discussed.
