Initial medical supplies and equipment were procured directly from the Oakland Naval medical Supply Depot.

Office, laboratory, and cold storage spaces were made available to them at once, and supplies and equipment were procured from the hospital and from the U. S. Naval Medical Supply Depot in Oakland.
