A 13-year-old German schoolboy corrected NASAs estimates on the chances of an asteroid colliding with Earth, a German newspaper reported Tuesday, after spotting the boffins had miscalculated.
Flight controllers also plan to try to get Global Surveyor to contact one or both of NASAs roving geology stations, Spirit and Opportunity, which are located on opposite sides of Mars equator.
