This paper has analysed theoretically the natural convection heat transfer in the HFETR core.

The natural heat convection and the water rock thermal exchange in the aquifer thermal transfer (ATT) process are studied thoroughly in this paper in order to clarify their effect upon the process.

The complex heat transfer of turbulent natural convection combined with surface radiation in open cavities is analyzed by numerical method.
