The results show that the quasi-isentropiccompression experiments in the low pressure range can be come ture with explosive-loading device with an air cushion.
Therefore, the method to obtain quasi-isentropiccompression by layered flyers impacting target and the method of numerical simulation for quasi-isentropiccompression are reliable.
This article describe the numerical simulation for shock compression which is produced by layered flyers impacting target, in which the isentropic curve is calculated by recurrence method.
