Objective to study the perinatal factors of hypoxia and ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) and the relationship between HIE and its grading, complicated multiple organ injury and electrolyte disorder.

Hypoxia ischemic brain damage (HIBD), which resulted from neonatal asphyxia, is the main cause of death and disability in neonatal periods.

MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Comparison of serum SOD and malondialdehyde between normal rabbits and myocardial ischemic rabbits under the acute hypothermia and hypoxia conditions.
