The blast furnace gas (BFG) which is byproduct of ironmaking plays an important role in the energy construction of iron and steel works.

Large scale blast furnace is the developing trend of the ironmaking. Constructing huge blast furnace must have fine burden and high grade coke.

This paper analysed the evolution of ironmaking production and discussed the effect of blast furnace and its prospect.
