By taking an involutecylindricalgear as an example, the tooth profile deviation is calculated. The results show that the method is correct and feasible.

In this paper, the author applied the mathematical theory of gear meshing, developed by Nankai University, to discuss systematically the meshing theory of Involutecylindrical worm gears.
