Based on the interference principle, a tunable proton exchanged LiNbO3 optical waveguide filter with cascade structure was simulated and designed.

The principle and characteristic of excited light source, interference optical filter, transmission optical fiber and optical detector are discussed.

P interference filter and its applications to the optical fiber communication system are studied in this paper.
