Objective To investigate the effect of iliotibialtract transposition for repairing of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) traumatic rupture.

Methods The iliotibialtract autograft of about one third length was dissected with the tibial attachment kept. Then the trimmed gracilis tendon was wrapped in the iliotibialtract to reconstruct ACL.
