The experimental results show that the control scheme based on the hierarchical fuzzy controller is efficient and convergent quickly because of its advantage in less fuzzy rules.

By using the genetic algorithms with hierarchical chromosome structures, rule generation and para - (meter) tuning of the fuzzy controller can be achieved simultaneously.

Having applied hierarchical fuzzy systems in the control architecture, the number of rules in a fuzzy logic controller is reduced greatly, thus the control instantaneity can be improved.
