You cannot just transpose print candy to screen candy. In print, graphic page ornaments are a matter of taste and brand. On the screen they become confusing clutter.

For example, a screen reader cannot help a blind person read informational graphic images on a Web page unless the developer has provided alternative text for those images.

It comes in two parts -a scale placed under the plate and a small computer screen showing a graphic of the food that gradually disappears as the user eats.
