Cable structures with hyperbolic paraboloid shape are analysed in detail for the form finding and structural loading calculation as well as fire reaction at high temperature by FEA method.

Study results show that hyperbolic tangent hysteretic model can describe the mechanical behavior of magnetorheological damper perfectly and it is simple in form, explicit in concept and easy to apply.

Then, a robust compensation term is developed in form of hyperbolic tangent function to obtain a smooth control input without chattering phenomena.
