  NOV. ,is erected upon the unique characters of Siphluriscus chinensis Ulmer(1920),whose larvae are described and figured in detail for the first time and imagoes of it are redescribed additionally based on specimens collected in recent years (diagnostics:largest number of accessory gills,unique head pattern,mouthparts and claws in Ephemeroptera larvae;largest hind wing relatively,gill remnants on fore- and midcoxa and unique genitalia in imagoes).

  (与其它蜉蝣相比,该种稚虫具一系列独特性状,如头胸部具最多的鳃、唇基及口器十分发达、头型及爪独一无二。 其成虫具大型的后翅、前中足的基节基部具鳃丝残迹、外生殖器独特等。
