The Merchant shall give such cash deposit or other security as the Carrier may deem sufficient to cover the estimated GeneralAveragecontribution of the Goods before delivery.

Where the goods had been sold before its arrival at the port of destination, its value for contribution shall be the net proceeds plus the amount of generalaverage sacrifice.

Article 263 the limitation period for claims with regard to contribution in generalaverage is one year, counting from the day on which the adjustment was finished.
