A new depth retrieval algorithm based on the model of Gaussian point spread function is proposed, which uses the Gaussian distribution to interpolate the modulation to obtain the accurate depth map.

This paper used Gaussian function as point spread function, applying in inverse filtering algorithm and Wiener filtering algorithm and improving them.

The key problem in image restoration is to get the point spread function of motion-blurred images and the knowledge about noise. Gaussian white noise is commonly assumed as the noise.
