Objective:To assess the left ventricular diastolic function in patients with hypertrophiccardiomyopathy(HCM) using mitral annulus velocity determined by quantitative tissue velocity imaging (QTVI).
Hypertrophiccardiomyopathy (HCM). This is a disease in which the heart muscle (myocardium) becomes abnormally thick, making it harder for the heart to pump blood.
