METHODS: 31 cases with unilateral complete cleft lip and palate underwent early simultaneous lip-nose-alveolar repair following presurgical nasoalveolar molding.

Objective To establish a rat model of cleft lip and palate combined with maxillary bone defect (unilateral alveolarcleft), and investigate its stability.

Results complete cleftpalate was diagnosed in 4 cases by ultrasonography, all of which were accompanied with complete cleft lip and alveolar process. Incomplete cleftpalate were missed in 2 cases.
