Boris Kodjoe is believable as an amorous basketball player, and Mos Def has great success with the small role of Christopher, a rapper reduced to driving a taxi. (And one of the only medallioned cabs in New York without a security barrier, which would have impeded several dialogue scenes.) Keep an ear out for Christopher's quick rap on Bogey and Casablanca.
