A concept of global frequency response function (GFRF) has been presented. The MIMO modal parameter identification modal has been established, based on the weighting sum of modal shape squares.

The weighting values are determined as a function of frequency based upon a state of a communication channel and the transmission mode of the signal.

Simulations show that the performance of the frequency estimator based on Weighting Function provides an excellent estimate of frequency offset in wireless systems.
