The economy is probably in its fifth quarter of recession and the Royal bank of Canada thinks the New Zealand central bank may have to resort to foreign-exchange intervention.

More than one-quarter of the world's oil and almost one-fifth of the world's natural gas come from offshore, even though offshore drilling is six to seven times more expensive than drilling on land.

But they are also more susceptible to depression: a fifth to a quarter of women experience depression at some point in their lives, compared with around a tenth of men.
