The paper summarizes the environmental hormone behavior, source and existing situation of phthalic acid ester pollutants in air, water, organism and sediment.

New concepts of the scale partial index of air pollutants and the scale integrated index of air environmental quality are suggested.

And the regional environmental capacity (air environmental capacity, surface water capacity) and the allowable discharge amounts of the main pollutants were estimated and analyzed.
