Usage 用法说明
All of meaning ‘the whole of, every one of’ is usual before pronouns (e.g. all of it, all of us) and emphatically, often paralleling none of, some of, etc., before nouns (e.g. all of the advantages but none of the disadvantages) Otherwise, all + noun is normal, (e.g. phoned all his friends, ate all the bread). See also Usage Notes at ALRIGHT and ALTOGETHER. 在用 all of 表示“全体,每一个”时一般置于代词之前,如 all of it (所有这些) all of us (我们大家),并与 none of some of 等平行表示强调,如 all of the advantages but none of the disadvantages (所有的优点,但没有任何缺点);否则,正常的用法是 all 后跟名词,如 phoned all his friends 给他所有的朋友打了电话; ate all the bread (把面包全吃光了)。另见 ALRIGHT ALTOGETHER 的用法注释。
