I had a great interview for a lectrice position at one university, then was told by another that the position required a Master's.
It is your responsibility to write letters and translate documents, but it is reasonable to ask for consultation with your lecteur / lectrice and/or your Director of Studies.
The position of lectrice is similar to that of an assistante d' anglais, except that students at Bordeaux work in a university setting rather than in a school, so that they are working with more advanced students normally majoring in English studies.
